Hi,
Considering that your husband already has esophageal cancer, its more likely that the bleeding is coming from the upper gi tract. However, your doctor would be better placed to find out the origin of the bleeding. If the bleeding is profuse and frequent, why have you not taken him to the ER as yet?
You may also need to get the pin sized marking examined this.
Meanwhile, let us know what your doctor says.
Best regards
I would love to take him to the ER....he refuses. He does not want to be stuck in a hospital. And by the way, it is not blood that he is vomiting, it is blood that just suddenly starts. And of course, with his cancer already diagnosed, he won't seek medical advice ...he beleives that the end is near, and like I said won't go to the ER. Guess I just needed someone's input for my own piece of mind.
Hey,
Its good to know that the post helped you understand the condition better.
He may need more convincing. This may also need persuasion and inculcation of the fact that there are many options available. Medical advice will help him and he may need reassurance that it will be fine.
Bst regards
