Wierd hand

Hello,
To make a long story short a few years ago i got into a fight, it resulted in the tearing of the nerves of my skin on the middle knuckel on the top my left hand. I couldnt realy feel anything there. Being the wierd kid i was then, i started messing with it and finnaly forming a bad habit of biting it. It has become pufffy and distorted as if you took a small piece of skin and blew it up in size 5 times. When i lay my hand out flat it looks like a big blotch of extra skin at first glance but its more than that. my knuckle its self as sweld up greatly, and if i clentch my fist it looks like my middle knuckle is that of a giants. When you lay my hand out flat and touch it the skin is  fuffy in spots and is kinda soft yet squishy, but when i make a fist it becomes  hard as if you were touching a reguler knuckle. Im to poor to get a real medical diagnosis on it, so i hope i can get some answers here on what has happend and how to treat it. i will add quik that it hasent yet affected the movement of my fingers.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
The symptoms that you are having sound like keloid scar. Keloids are firm, rubbery lesions or shiny, fibrous nodules, and can vary from pink to flesh-colored or red to dark brown in color. They have the capability to hurt with a needle-like pain or to itch without warning.

Treatment consists of topical treatment, steroid injections, surgery, cryotherapy, radiation therpy or laser surgery.I would suggest a dermatologist’s evaluation as treatment is diagnosis specific.

Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts.Kind regards.
