Will this go away ?

04/04/2017 I was running In the rain to try to catch a bus as soon as I took off I slipped and fell face forward slamming my chin on the concrete I want to the hospital got stitches then a couple months later I noticed a bump on my chin from where I got the stitches I felt it and it feels very firm it feels like it’s apart of my chin.
Any idea of what this could be? Will I need surgery? Thanks

It could be scar tissue- as far as if it will go away, your doctor is the best place to have it looked at and be able to tell you.  If it is scar tissue, they can sometimes break it up other ways then surgery, but it's unique for each situation, so go ahead and ask your doctor to be sure.
