Woke up with around 50 little bumps on my body?

This morning i woke up with about 50 little red bumps. They are all over my legs, arms, back, a few around my hairline,  and some on my chest. A majority of the ones on my legs almost disappeared and now look like little pin pricks.

My first thought was fleas, but i haven't seen any on me or my bed. The only thing i can think of that could have caused it was the fact i was sitting in grass for about 30 minutes yesterday. My boyfriend who also slept in my bed last night did not get any bumps, so what could they be?

Hello,
From the suddenness of appearance of bumps, it looks like an allergic reaction or viral infection. You can give non-sedating antihistamines such as Cetirizine. Sedating antihistamines such as Benadryl is used at night to get urticaria control. Short courses of oral cortisone or steroids are taken for short periods (one to three days) to settle more severe symptoms but they are available under prescription.
You may take Vitamin C along with the prescribed treatment. Vitamin C is a general anti-allergy supplement. It helps stabilize mast cells so they are less likely to release histamine.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Hello,
I am glad that you have benefitted from antihistaminics. Regarding these itchy blisters on the body, it can be due to plant contact dermatitis, impetigo blisters, herpes, bullous tinea or phytophoto reactions. To confirm the diagnosis the fluid from the blisters should be sent for culture and then specific treatment should be started. For this please consult a dermatologist.

I hope it helps. Take care and regards.

Thank you, i did take some Benadryl and have not broken out anymore. I was going to mention a previous issue i was having with my skin. I'm not sure if the two problems are related at all, but for the past few months i have been randomly getting red bumps that appear to be  bug bites, but get larger and form a few blisters. I've been to the doctors about 5 times to see what they thought, all had different opinions. My doctor said it was some type of bacteria infection, but the medicine he gave me did nothing to help it. Another doctor said bug bites, but seeing no one else that lives with me is getting bug bites, and the fact that i see no sign of bugs in my room makes me think its something else. The bumps wouldn't be a big deal to me, but when they appear on my fingers or my toes, they get very swollen. I had a bump appear on my pointer finger, and i was wearing a sweater over that finger all day, it got very irritated and my entire hand became swollen.

The bumps are not painful at all, very itchy, and come up on various places of my body.
