Yeast infections and broncitis

My GF has a yeast infection and also some illness that makes her cough a lot (it may not be bronchitis). The yeast infection has spread to me, and although I have temporary relief using MICONAZOLE NITRATE, the tip of the foreskin still has some flakeyness and it feels like the foreskin is shrinking. I posted this because I noticed that someone else had the same problem and also mentioned that the girl may have bronchitis. Could there be a link?

Hi,

In my opinion that may not be happening actually. The reason can be the healing of the skin which may have contracted the skin. further, it may also be due to some fluids from your body which may have stayed on there overnight and have caused this.

keep us posted and talk to your doctor if it concerns you more.

Is it possible that micanazole shrinks the foreskin? Every time I put it on, I experience some kind of temporary phimosis (on the morning after). When I don't put it on, there are no problems, except the flakeyness of the top of the outer foreskin.

Hi,

There is a link between bronchitis and yeast, this link is the poor immune response which may be the factor behind both of these.

If you think that your yeast infection has not got any better since the treatment, then both of you should visit the doctor immediately.

Further, if you think she may have both bronchitis and continued yeast infection, then you should give even more importance to this.

Hope this helped. Let us know if you may need any more help.

Best regards
