bumps on lips and penis

hi, i have had small white bumps on my upper lip and my penis for a month or two now. I went to the doctor and she just said it was a viral infection. They are not going away even though im using what she prescribed. The bumps on my penis are also shiny, does anyone have any suggestions on what this could be? and if so how to get rid of it. I was thinking lichen nitidus but im really not sure

thank you for the advice. just fyi the bumps are mainly on the head of my penis

Hello,
These bumps sound like Fordyce spots. They are small yellowish-white granules on the inner surface and border of the lips.On penis,they may appear on the shaft of the penis. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only.
Treatment of Fordyce spots includes CO2 laser or electro desiccation, TCA chemical peels(temporary treatment),diathermy or laser vaporization.
