do i have psorisis or something else

i have developed red dots the size of a fingernail all over the top and bottom of my legs.It started about 2 months ago and its getting progressively worse. They are round and not itchy or sore but are multiplying all over my legs. They look so horrible and it upsets me to see them.
My doctor said its psorisis, but none of the spots are sore or itchy.
The doctor has goven me topical steroid cream and did nothing and vitamain d cream still nothing.
She referred me to a dermatologist who chare over $100 a visit so i cannot afford this option.
My doctor said psorisis will never go away and that theres nothing she can do for me anymore.
Im devastated. These spots came out of nowhere and are getting worse.
I need some help please by anyone who has any ideas
thankyou in advance.
Also i asked for a blood test and was told by my dr that i had a blood test 6 months ago and it was fine, that is really bad and i feel she should be checking my blood.

Help please

Hi,
In general, rashes that are sudden in onset could be allergic in nature or they could be eczema.  However, both these conditions will be associated with itching. This disorder is a chronic recurring condition which varies in severity from minor localized patches to complete body coverage.

Apart from this, the most common cause for the type of rash you have described in your post would be Psoriasis. It commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin, which are areas of inflammation and excessive skin production. Skin rapidly accumulates at these sites and takes on a silvery-white appearance.

A diagnosis of psoriasis is usually based on the appearance of the skin. There are no special blood tests or diagnostic procedures for psoriasis. Sometimes a skin biopsy, or scraping, may be needed to rule out other disorders and to confirm the diagnosis.

The cause of psoriasis is not known, but it is believed to have a genetic component. Several factors like stress, excessive alcohol consumption, and smoking are thought to
aggravate the condition.

Ointment and creams containing coal tar, dithranol (anthralin), corticosteroids like desoximetasone (Topicort), vitamin D3 analogues (for example, calcipotriol) are used as a first line of treatment.
