eczema.

I've had eczema my entire life and it's NEVER been as bad as it is now. I just gave birth a little over a month ago, but my skin now is soo irritated and itchy I can't even sleep at night. It's made it hard to move or take showers. It burns. I've had perscription steroid cremes every type of lotion out there. And all my dermato wants to do is use the same cremes. I NEED RELIEF!! Does anyone know a natural way to ease the eczema pain? please anything I'm almost desperate because I i need to look after my son more than my skin.

So, I did the cold compress this today. But i decided I couldn't stand it anymore, I got up to make my ds a bottle and I was literally crying because of the burn,.I called my mom to come help me to the doctors and they gave me a steroid shot for the itch and pain. And prescribed more cream.

I've actually heard of people "curing" their eczema and even had a teacher who cured her psoriasis though diets and "internal cleansing". I myself have done the dieting to cleanse myself internally, and it worked but because it was so much upkeep and constant watching what you eat, drink, and surround yourself with, I had to stop. My skin dramatically improved after that but up until after i gave birth my skin returned to how it used to be as a child, and all over my body too. ( before pregnancy I only had it on my arms and sometimes my face ) I want to keep it as organic as possible and I've had bad times with steroid creams because they would work and once you stop using them the eczema would flare up or come back.

But Vanessa thank you so much for your advice it helped but I think my case of eczema just got more intense than it was before -_-

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

I understand how frustrating this is for you. There is really no definite cure for eczema and topical corticosteroids are the mainstay in controlling but not preventing the flares of eczema. You may ask your physician if taking antihistamines will be able to help at this point as this may help in reducing the itchiness.

Applying calamine lotion and applying cold compress on the skin for not greater than 15 minutes may be able to help relieve the redness and the itchiness. I would not suggest application of various creams however unless prescribed by your doctor , as this may only worsen the condition.
