facial yeast getting nowhere

I have a facial yeast infection that a dermatologist has been treating with oral ketaconazole and a facial lotion for over a year, it's not getting better. He said there's a better medicine but I'm allergic to penicillin and cannot take it..any suggestions I can do at home to rid my skin of this?? I am so tired of being red and itchy...please can you help?  I have severe hypoglycemia, could this be a contributing factor?

Hi reg. Thanks very much for the info. Just so you know, Hyperglycemica is diabetes. Hypo..is the exact opposite. too much insulin being produced. controlling it by eating like a diabetic does is pretty much the only thing I can do. So, I already cut out all sugar and almost all carbs. thanks for suggesting the diet though, I will definitely check it out!!
Partly why my frustration with this yeast is so high..lol
thanks again!! :)

Diabetes can be a factor in recurring infections. Clean up your diet. Get on the Phase I Diet by Doug Kaufman. Yeast thrive on carbos, and sugar. eliminate all sugars including fruits until this pest fungus is eliminated from your system. Veggies, salads meats ok, no sauce. Look for the diet on line. Kaufman is also on TV. "Know the cause."  I hope this help!!
