help for hands

I need some serious help! I was told that I might have pustular psoriasis on the palms of my hands, but it started months ago and it doesn't seem to be clearing up. The palms of my hands get so itchy and get little blisters on them, then they dry up and crack and peel. They hurt so bad. My hands feel like they have super glue all over them. Then when I move my hand it cracks and bleeds. I don't know what to do anymore. Anything I put on doesn't help. I need something to help soften up my hands again. Please help me!

I have severe psoriasis on my hands.  I'm looking for a good systemic, holistic, medicinal type treatment of the cause.

BUT, as for treating the symptoms of dry, scaling, cracking fingers (10 or 20 cracks on a single finer some times)... I have found one moisturizing cream is much better than the rest.  It is called no-crack super hand creme sold by Restoration Hardware surprisingly.  It's about $15 for a pretty big container of 16oz I think.  It will give you flexibility back and has no alcohol/irritants in it.  Comes in nice, luxurious scents too.  I carry an ounce or two around in a smaller container and apply throughout day to soften my otherwise hard, dry, painful, cracking, awful hands.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

Were you given any medications for your condition?

Are you currently using any medications?

Psoriasis plaques in localized areas may be treated with high potency steroids in combination with a vitamin D derivative such as calcipotriene.these are topical medications. The maintenance therapy for psoriasis requires tapering off of steroids once response and improvement has been achieved as well as the use of moisturizers. A bland and mild cream may be used as daily moisturizer.

It is important that you maintain close supervision by your physician when using steroids.Do not stop or taper off medications by yourself.Psoriasis is a chronic disease and the plaques may flare up from time to time.Discuss long term treatment and management with your physician.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about psoriasis, but have you tried the Gold Bond Lotions and also the LacHydrin (you get this at a pharmacy, it's about $14).  I use it for my keratosis pilaris, it seems to help the itching.  I think you might go to a doctor if they are bleeding at this point.
