White spots on the penis.

Hey, I've noticed that I have small white spots, running up the underside of my penis. I have had them for a long time, and I have never really paid much attention, since they didnt irritate me at all. They still dont, but one burst, and some pus came out of it. This worries me, im wondering are they potentially a sign of something, or anything dangerous?

Id rather id get the awnser, then just telling me to go to my docter if possible.

Hello,

Fordyce spots are harmless and so are pearly penile papules. But sometimes they may bleed during intercourse. Some people may also get it removed for cosmetic appearance.

Ablation using carbon dioxide laser, electrodesiccation with curettage, and excisional surgery reportedly have successfully eliminated lesions. In my opinion you should talk to a cosmetologist/dermatologist about this.

I hope that helps. Please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional queries. Kind regards.

Hello,

I cannot confirm anything without examination, but they sound like Fordyce spots or pearly penile papules.Fordyce spots are small, painless, raised, pale or white spots or bumps 1 to 3 mm in diameter that may appear on the shaft of the penis. The spots are a form of ectopic sebaceous gland, and are not known to be associated with any disease or illness and are of cosmetic concern only. They are non-infectious and a natural occurrence on the body.

Pearly penile papules are small dome-shaped to filiform skin-colored papules that typically are located on the sulcus or corona of the glans penis.

Both of them should be removed only if causing trouble.
Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted if you have any additional queries.
