Now why would eczema break your face out with red bumps? eczema doesn't break out in bumps. Actually has no bumps.
99% of doctors mistake another thing for eczema.
Now if you had ACD, then that would explain much more.
Allergic contact dermatitis, and not to be confused with contact dermatitis, which doctors do mention. Contact dermatitis is from a contact with chemicals. But allergic contact dermatitis, is a reaction, "usually delayed" a few hours or so, to an allergen, which has developed. And when the allergic reaction is low, it is most times, only on the hands and feet. And often times people with this will have little reds dots on the upper legs and behind the upper arm. And sometimes more places.
But these on upper legs and back of arms ususally are not there during the onset of ACD. And if the skin is not dry, they do not itch.
Someone can have it all their life and not know. Often told they have eczema. And then as you age it can get worse and the reaction can happen on other parts of the body.
And what is it that you lay your face on all night? Because we know it isn't going to be the kitchen table that does this to your face.

Hello,
Eczema is term for a group of medical conditions that cause the skin to become inflamed or irritated. It is often caused by allergies to common natural inhalants and intolerance to some foods. Wash the areas several times with fresh water. Do not use any cosmetic products at the sites. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used, whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid. Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.
If still the symptoms do not improve then please get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. I hope it helps. Take care and please do keep us posted in case you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.
