Perrigo is a Generic company which has only Hydrocortisone and Idoquinol as the active ingredients and chemically non significant other contents. So such products always come in the basic color which is due to the key ingredient color code as raw formulation.Since Perrigo is a raw formulation,it comes in yellow color as mentioned in the previous message. Some other companies which has same composition but other inactive ingredients and preservatives, they might take the color of inactive ingredients or color of natural or synthetic chemicals mixed: like Vytone or Ethex,Alcortin,Glades or Dynarex.
If you might have noticed on the label it says 'Paraben free',which is a potential ingredient if included in composition causes severe allergic reactions, which is a good thing.
I am not from US or a chemist but did a research because this question is one of the most common doubt that arises about genuineity of the product.

Thanks for your quick response! The brand name is perrigo
Generally every brand has its own pack design and color addition to maintain product's uniqueness in the market, since there are so many companies who market this product like Alcortin-A,Vytone,So I think there is nothing to be worried about. If you could mention the brand name of the combination you are using I could exactly say if it is normal or not.
By the way,did you get the same brand that was prescribed by the Doctor or the druggist has chosen the brand for you?
