invisible biting bugs

Last summer I seemed to have become sensitive to bites to microscopic critters, apparently.  I used to leave the windows open during the day and night.  At first the bites began sporadically in the evenings during dusk.  They would bite my toes and between my fingers.  As time passed the bites increased even during the day. A couple months later I awoke in the middle of the night with a swarm I couldnt see on my scalp and all over. The itch was excrutiating and when I scratched my head they got under my fingernails.  My fingers looked like sausages from all the bites and I took a look in the mirror and my eyes and lips were horribly swollen with red splotches on my face.  I couldnt see any of these biters, even with that many.  The itch lasts several minutes and the swelling was gone by morning when they departed.  I've had to close up my home to keep them out after spraying bug spray and washing the curtains.  I'd open the curtans and they would bite my fingers.  They love fingeres and toes mostly.  It stopped during late winter but is starting again with warmer weather.  Any help identifying? also worse during cloudy weather and at night

Hi...I saw your posts from a few years ago (with HUGE relief) that these evil things die off in the winter (first frost/snow). Thank God as I've been through 3 months of hell and I've spent a fortune and tried everything! I'm already planning on moving this winter.

I have tried several things to kill invisible biting things. The only thing I found that works and kill them is 91% isopropyl alcohol. Alcohol is absorbed through the skin and can cause illness. Be careful how you use it and consult your doctor. I have finally got good relief using alcohol to kill the invisible things.
I put the alcohol on a round cotton pad and held it on a bite site for 3-5 minutes. At 5 minutes, looking at the clock, was fatal to the biting thing I think is a mite. I never felt a bite again in a place I used alcohol. Good luck, I hope you it works for you. I got my alcohol at Target for $3.11.

So I have also had these little tiny white or whitish little bugs biting me and my children for almost 2 months. I can see them in the clothes, on sheets, furniture and basically every surface. The pest control people kept telling me they were lice. I have 3 children and I even had lice as a child. It wasnt lice. I have spent days and nights trying to figure out what these are. Finally thank God I have found Im 99% sure that it is mites bird or rat mites. We have had 2 bird nest one in the dryer vent and another above our front door. The specimens have been sent out to be verified as these mites. So what helps to keep them from biting us in an insect repellent. Spray down your whole body and sheets as well as they are active at night. The biting stop instantly, Wow some relief as I was starting to loose my mind!  I am attaching the link that tells about them and what to do. I am so grateful and wouldnt want anyone else to continue to suffer. Good Luck everyone, hope this helps :)

I am looking for some advice on a strange issue. I started noticing that my bed was collecting little black spots, some little long spots, and what seem to be little clear/white bugs. The sides of my bed has little black skinny things hanging off the side and there were little black and reddish dots near the seams. I notice my clothes have little black dots and I can't tell if they are lint or not. A couple weeks ago I had a rash on my left inner arm and thought maybe I had bed bugs.... Exterminator didn't find anything. Now I notice little white specks on my clothes and can not tell if they move or not. Sometimes I swear I see things jumping off me and random nats will fly around me in different locations. I moved into a garage apartment about 2 months ago so I am wondering if this apartment is just infested with some kind of bug or parasite. The back of my neck itches now and I am starting to worry about this.......Any advice or thoughts?

Many people's symptoms here are common to various mold spores.  They're microscopic, can be kicked up or worsened by scratching, and tend to generally get worse instead of better.

Here are a few sites I was just looking at, definitely worth checking to see if symptoms match. Especially if you have ANY steady moisture in the house (humidifier, bath, basement, recent water leak or damage of *any* kind ...)

I have no association or affiliation, just recently been getting "bit" by some kind of nasty beasties I haven't yet laid eyes on.
