Numbness and tearing sensation on skin

A couple months ago I hit the shin right below my right knee very hard, hard enough to bring tears to my eyes and I don't even remember the last time pain has done that to me. My shin hurt for probably two days with a very minor bruise, I don't bruise easily. After the pain went away, I had an odd numb sensation on a patch of skin about two inches wide by 4 inches long on my skin where I hit my shin. I couldn't tell when someone would lightly brush my skin, but I could feel when someone pressed hard. Along with the numbness, occasionally I would get a very intense itching, but not matter how much or hard I scratched, the itch would not go away and I would have to wait it out. A couple days after the numbness started, I also started getting this extremely painful tearing sensation on that same patch of skin whenever the skin was stretched, such as when I would slide across the couch and my calf would rub against the leather. The pain peaks for maybe 30 seconds, but lasts a good 5 minutes afterwards. I don't know if this makes any sense at all, but the tearing almost feels like it's just below the skin, because when I touch my skin where it hurts, it feels numb on the surface.

There is no discoloration or odd texture to the skin, it doesn't feel thick or thin and the hair grows there just the same as the rest of my leg. This tearing seems to be getting easier to trigger and starting to feel worse every time it happens. This has been going on for at least 8 weeks now, maybe more.

Thank you for whatever help you can give me.

I have had the same thing for years and no one knows what it is. It's spreading like wildfire. Has anyone found out anything about this condition?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
From the symptoms of pain, numbness and itching is due to compressed or pinched nerve in the area which could have been sustained due to trauma to the area. I would suggest you to get an evaluation done from a neurologist/ orthopedician. An x-ray of the shin is required to rule out any fracture as small as hair line fractures.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
