non-itchy coffee-spill rash.. weird?

Hi!

So I've got this weird rash. It doesn't hurt or itch at all, and it kind of looks like I spilled coffee on myself. I get it on my arms and legs, and I'm not sure if it's stress-related or what? I have anxiety disorder and I'm also allergic to wheat/gluten.. I'm wondering if maybe it's an allergy rash? Sometimes I eat foods I shouldn't.. so I'm not sure!

Anyways.. if anyone has seen anything like it.. and knows what it might be.. lemme know!

I attached a picture.. have a look. Thanks!

the rash is reddish and is kindof spot-like. doesn't hurt or itch.. just looks weird. haha. maybe it'll take a couple hours for the pic to show up..  i'm guessing it's the gluten rash.. i'm always eating things i shouldn't.. d'oh!

Hi,

How long have you been having these coffee-like rash?  Are there other signs or symptoms present? Without the picture, it is hard to reach a diagnosis. Gluten allergy usually presents with a red rash.  It could be Café au lait spots (CAL) which are pigmented birthmarks.  In light-skinned individuals, they are the color of coffee with cream. The spots can increase in size, number, and darkness throughout childhood. Having six or more of such spots greater than 15 mm in diameter postpubertal children is a cardinal diagnostic feature of Neurofibromatosis type I. If it persists, it would be best to see your doctor for further evaluation and management. Take care and keep us posted.
