why have i got real itchy legs till the point that they bleed this is usual after shaving but did not shave for weeks and the symptoms did not get better please help as i go on holiday in 3 weeks and the scabs look hardiness and cause pain  many thanks                                              miss m paterson .

Hello,
This can be due to an allergic reaction or due to small irritated hair follicles after shaving. Keep the area clean and apply some topical antiseptics. Also wear loose-fitting cotton clothing and use an antibacterial soap or mild soap like dove. Avoid any kind of cosmetics. Topical antibiotics such as mupirocin or neomycin containing ointment are also useful. In case the symptoms persist then oral antibiotics may be needed. Please consult a dermatologist in that case.

possible allergic reaction to something or very dry skin.  Have you tried bathing with baby oil in the water??  Allergic reaction possible due to new soap or lotion??
