All those creams work for ACD also! Simply by providing a thin but sufficent barrier to shield the skin from the allergen. Even lotions help me from reacting when it comes to A small area of contact, alight touching contact, and also a smaller % of polyester in the clothing. So when you prescribe a cream of ointment lets say for a rash or irritation on the penis or scrotum for thinking they have lets say a fungal infection, and it is really allergy to the polyester in underwear or center polyester htread in the center seam and fly of boxer shorts, and they react there only for having just a mild allergy to polyester, and the groin is most sensitive, then you think because it gets better, that they did indeed have a fungus. When it actually cleared up because it was ACD and the ointment provided a barrier to shield the skin from the polyester! And further doc. When given an antihistamine for a non existent fungus, this blocks the allergic reaction as well. Thus years of this led to the mis-belief that most times a rash or inflamed or other ways poly can react on skin, that almost always this inflamed area has a fungus. Thus in college they teach doctors that the first thing to look for is fungal. And seeing this was missed all this time, and treating for fungus or bacteria, still brings relief by also treating the ACD reaction. Thus it is widely believed now that very seldom times this is a polyester allergic reaction! Just so happens that treatment for fungal is also a good treatment for the allergy. But when this mysterious fungus "which doesn't exit" appears to keep coming back at a later time, and you or others can't figure out how they are always getting fugus again and again when they are very clean and wash every day, then you need to figure it may be allergic reaction.
Well, my opinion is that doctors should just place 100% polyester batten in the inner crease of the elbow and close arm tight on it for 30 minutes and wait for the allergic reaction to happen 2-3 hours after or longer. And then once this quick test is done and only then should there be anything what so ever prescribed to the patient. When a doctor says it may be fungal, or CD and prescribe antibiotics, they are likely makiing the patient immune to another intibiotic. And after they have eruptions over and over and other ones have to be used for the other lets cilin or antibiotics, then these people who are thought to be getting repeated fungal infections but are having allergic reaction instead, may end up with a real virus one day and there will be no more antibiotics left that work for him for using them all already! Thus they may die from this huge mistake the medical society has made since the beginning of time. I may be the only one in the whole world who has figured this out But that doesn't mean I am wrong doc! And I am having this reviewed for publishment in the BMJ journal of medicine as we speak! So too late for someone else to go try to take credit for this discovery. Because I have already made the steps needed, to get the credit myself! It is too late for anyone else now. And in a very short time millions of doctors will be reading this journal they all perscribe to.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
Psoriasis is a chronic aoutoimmune disease. The drugs that have been approved by FDA are adalimumab and Xtrac Velocity excimer laser system. Apart from that, topical medications like emollients, creams containing coal tar, dithranol (anthralin), corticosteroids like desoximetasone (Topicort), fluocinonide, vitamin D3 analogues (for example, calcipotriol), and retinoids have been routinely used. Phototherapy containing UV A has also been employed. But it is usually seen that psoriasis can become resistant to a specific therapy. Treatments may be periodically changed to prevent resistance developing. My advice would be to consult a dermatologist and discuss these treatment options so that treatment best suiting you can be decided.
I sincerely hope it helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing or if you have any additional doubts. Kind regards.

Go to google and type in psoriasis and instead of search the web, above the search bar click "images" And check the pics that come up. Does your skin look like that? I bet it doesn't

And exactly how big are the red dots if you have them?
Do they itch if not dry?

Could be ACD instead. Because of where it is located I say that. People with ACD will react on lower legs most often , and scalp too.  And many doctors will think it is psorisis. If it is this, I can tell you what to do to end it for good. You would still have ACD but this would clear up for you.
