rash after beach?

Hi everyone,

I had gone to a beach to which I have been to several times before. But that time while in the water I started to feel itchy on my skin and when I went back home I developped a rash on my body. Mainly on my torso and it was flat and itchy, and I had some pimples like on my arms. it was all very itchy.

What do you think this could have been? Do you think it is related to my visit to the beach?

I had taken a day before 1mg of azithromycin can it also be related ?

It very well could be. There are things such as cedar itch, swimmers itch, etc that can leave you very itchy after going to the beach. There may have been something ( chemical ) in the sand as well.

I should add that the rash lasted for like 6 days and went away with no medications
