My daughter-in-law gets those symptoms when she eats onion or garlic! Rash on wrists and one thumb! I don't know if it's just the allicin in the food, but shrimp also bothered her a bit like that.
I too get the very same thing!!! Exactly what you said...except for the foot part. Mine is just on the underside of the wrists and up one thumb... Did you find any of the feedback useful?
Hi,
This could be eczema or dermatitis or other skin conditions such as psoriasis. In particular, eczema is a form of chronic dermatitis. Allergic reaction is one of the important causes of eczema and this can occur to strong soaps, solvents, chemicals, certain foods, food additives, plants, metals, or cosmetics. Psoriasis commonly causes red scaly patches to appear on the skin. Plaques frequently occur on the skin of the elbows and knees or on the extensor aspect of the joint.
It is important to keep the area clean and dry. Wash several times with fresh water. Continue with the steroid you are using. Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. This is why use moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.If it persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor.
Take care and regards.
