red bump on shaft

I have a red bump on my penis when it is erect and not erect. under the head on the skin there is a white dot that if i try to rip it off it hurts, it kinda hard also... I am still a virgin and i had not had sex yet. I've had this for about 4 or years or so i have never gone to get help. I am not circumsized so the skin is still there and for about a day or two i believe my skin was no covering the head and i walked around for about a day in my pants. Now i don't know if this is herpes and i pray to god it is not. Can someone give me an answer to what i should do and can a doctor prescribe me something to help with this problem?

Hi,

You have noted this bump under your foreskin for the last 4 years? Is this correct?

Is this the same bump since 4 years ago?

Is the lump solitary or do they appear in clusters?

Do keep us posted with your answers.

A lump in the penis that has been present for years without any changes may not be of urgent concern. Normal structures like blood vessels and sweat glands may manifest as lumps and bumps. Fordyce spots and pearly white spots in the penis are benign and noncontagious.Uncircumcision increases the risk for infection beneath the foreskin. I suggest that you have your primary physician assess your condition so that a baseline assessment be done. Stop picking on the lump.Perform a self testicular examination regularly and observe any changes in the testicles that may associate with the penile lump.

Keep us posted regarding your physician's advice. Keep in touch!
