Dry Patch on Corner of Lip

Hello,
My lips had been dry for a few weeks, so I tried different balms.  They didn't seem to help so I quit them.  Now, I have a dry tight patch on one corner of my lower lip.  It is not a very large area.  No cracking, weeping, or cuts.  A few years ago, I had a case of angular cheilitis and used a combo of Lotrimin and Hydrocortisone and it cleared right up.  I tried that this time and when I wipe away the creme it just gets tight, dry, and crinkly again. I have never had cold sores.  It is only that small patch.

Also, if I leave it without any moisturizer or creme then it gets starts peeling a bit.

Can anyone help me figure out what this is or how to treat it?

I take many vitamins, including a B supplement. I'm still at a loss.

You may be lacking in Vitamin B complex.

Keep applying a moisturiser lip balm to protect it from the elements.
