Dermatalogist wouldn't give me steroid shot.

He said the keloid I have on my earlobe is to small for the shot, but isn't the whole point of the shot is to make it smaller? He said the only way to get rid of it was by surgery and I'm to scared for that. I need real  help because I tried silicone sheets for months now and no results. Should I see a different dermatologist? I posted a pic below.

Have you tried sea salt soaks? i had one on my nose when i got it pierced and  what i did was boil hot water get Sea Salt without iodine put a table spoon in a cup of water. then take a clean cotton ball and apply it to the bump. Hold it there for as long as you can take the heat just keep applying its for 15-20 minutes everyday.
Also i tried applying Hot chamomile tea bag and applying it to the bump.
After I did all that I put Pure Raw Organic Manuka Honey on it and covered with a Bandaid.
Im not sure which worked better since i was doing it at the same time. But i had the bump on my nose for like 8 months. I have no scar or Discoloration. And It never came back. I think i did it for 2 weeks - month. I cant really remember. i did it 2-3 times a day
theres alot of different things you can do naturally before surgery or shots. theres alot of videos on Youtube about how to get rid of Keloids.

Im not a doctor Just thought Id give you my experience on how to get rid of my Keloid Naturally. If you try it let me know how it goes.

It didn't grow back?  I'm scared it will grow back and get bigger after surgery.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,

Keloid is a heaped-up scar that rises quite abruptly above the rest of the skin and become red, purple and irritated. They are very commonly found on chest and may start some time after the injury or skin lesion.

Other than steroid injections, cryotherapy and laser can also be used.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
