skin condition.

i have this weird skin condition. up until now i was under the impression that it was psoriasis. but ive used atleast 5 different creams and before it used to go away for the most part but could still see where the skin was not normal. but now the stuff i use just doesnt help as much. it causes lots of dandruff and its like a thick layer of dead skin and when i pick at it. it bleeds. not a lot but enough to concern me. ive stoped picking at it cause obviously thats not good. but i want to know wat else this could be because nothing ive used for psoriasis has helped anymore.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis. Seborrheic dermatitis is a common skin condition that causes flaky, dry, white to yellowish scales to form on oily areas esp under the nose or anywhere on face. You can treat flaking and dryness with over-the-counter dandruff or medicated shampoos. Shampoo the hair vigorously and frequently (preferably daily). Active ingredients in these shampoos include salicylic acid, coal tar, zinc, resorcin, ketoconazole, or selenium.

If the symptoms persist, then it would be best to get it confirmed from a dermatologist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

i also forgot to add that it is only on my head. its all over. the top, the back, behind me ear, in my ear, on the sides of my nose, atm only on one eyebrow but starting to show  up on other, biggest spot would be on my forehead and the back of my head.
