small white bumps on shaft of penis

I am a 18 year old male. I have small white bumps on the shaft of my penis (seems to be under the skin) and also under the head of my penis. I am not sexually active. I have done some research and I have come to believe that it is just buildup in the sebacus glands. I dont know if they are actually the result of buildup in the gland. I was wondering if I was right. If I am correct then how could I go about getting rid them?

Thankyou

hi Vanessa thanks for answering,

these bumps are just little and painless. I have had them since i can remember and I always thought they would just go away. They are mainly in clusters and some have small hairs growing out of them. They are raised a lillte bit but they seem to be mostlt under the skin but near the surface. They dont itch or scale or contain fluid within. I havent had any change in urinary patterns lately at all. I hope this can help

Thanks

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hi,

In the absence of pertinent sexual history, lesions secondary to sexually transmitted diseases may be ruled out.

How would you characterize these white bumps?

Are they flat or elevated? Are they clustered together or are they solitary?

Are they shiny or plaque like? Do they scale? Do they itch? Do they contain fluid within (more like vesicles)?

Any change in urinary patterns lately?

Do keep us posted with your answers.

see your dermatologist and they will numb the penis and give it an electric shock they should dry up and fall off, but they may grow back so you may have to do this from time to time. this is a minor surgery but insurence wont cover it.
