strange random spots, help please

Im a 21 y/o male

For some months now i have had strange tiny red spots appearing all over my upper body.  They are individual red acne like spots, often white or shiny looking in the middle, however there is nothing inside them.  They appear to stay for weeks if not months on end, and possibly only dissapear when picked at and then they bleed and scar.

I am also getting tiny spots all over upper body that contain dead skin in the middle that flake off after a week or so, they can barely be seen they are so small but are also leaving scars wondered if these two were connected.

These rashes dont itch, but on occasion feel slightly tickly.  I also keep getting very hot suddenly and have severe anxiety, my diet is very poor and i have been very run down as of late.  So this may be a cause.

The Doctors gave me antibiotics, betnovate, and aqueous cream.  The aqueous cream seems to be improving it slightly.

Any ideas to what this might be would be greatly appricated.

Thanks a lot for your help, ive looked into what you said about it being folliculitis or keratosis pilaris, i think these may be what it is, feel better about it now anyway.  Thanks.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi

Red shiny spots that may present with scale in the center may actually be folliculitis, acne or a fungal infection. Other differentials will be seborrheic dermatitis and keratosis pilaris. Seborrheic dermatitis may present with a greasy yellow scale while keratosis pilaris may present with a rough sandpapery feel over the skin. I would suggest that skin scrapings of the affected skin be obtained and microscopically evaluated. This will help ascertain if a fungal or bacterial infection is present.

sounds like you have a case of Eczema

http://www.medicinenet.com/eczema/article.htm

go there and read a little i read some.. and it sounds like what you have..

What are the causes of eczema?
Doctors do not know the exact cause of eczema, but an abnormal function of the immune system is believed to be a factor. Some forms of eczema can be triggered by substances that come in contact with the skin, such as soaps, cosmetics, clothing, detergents, jewelry, or sweat. Environmental allergens (substances that cause allergic reactions) may also cause outbreaks of eczema. Changes in temperature or humidity, or even psychological stress, for some people lead to outbreaks of eczema.

you can use this stuff.. to help
Corticosteroid creams are sometimes prescribed to decrease the inflammatory reaction in the skin. These may be mild-, medium-, or high-potency corticosteroid creams depending upon the severity of the symptoms. If itching is severe, oral antihistamines may be prescribed. To control itching, the sedative type antihistamine drugs (for example, diphenhydramine [Benadryl], hydroxyzine [Atarax, Vistaril], and cyproheptadine) appear to be most effective.
