Have any of you guys researched molluscum contagiosum. My daughter was diagnosed by the gp today with it so I've been intently researching it. However, I do believe the diagnosis to be incorrect according to the symptoms and pictures. With what you guys are saying it seems quite plausible that you could have molluscum contagiosum but I am no doctor. Good luck with your search for an answer.
I had multiple wasp stings a few years ago, after which I started with rosacea. This year I went walking in the Peak District and got bitten by a horsefly twice on my left arm. The actual bites are taking forever to heal, and the whole area has become extremely itchy and covered in tiny itchy bumps. I have tried Eurax cream but that made it worse. The only thing I have found that reduces the itching is a cool pack (like the ones you put in cool boxes), you can use ordinary ice, but this just tends to burn the skin and makes a watery mess.
It could be Molluscum contagiosum.

I started getting these on my forearms about 5 years ago. Doctors don't know what causes this or what they are. My brother said he thinks it's cancer. I told him to go kill himself. These things are soooo embarassing. I hate wearing t-shirts in the summer. I just want a solution. I'll do anything. People always say... "What the hell happened to your arms". I've even used cover up on them. I know it will take longer to heal using cover up but i'd rather cover them up for 6 months than have them look nasty for 6 weeks. I'm getting desperate here. WTF is this???
Hi All,
I don't know if my explanation will be for everyone but, about three years ago I started to get patches of these itchy, blistering rashes on my hands, then it proceeded to eventually cover most of my body. The rashes were extremely itchy and the doctor could not figure out what I had. He gave me cortizone cream...I tried every kind of itch relief I could find, nothing worked.
A naturopath that my mother went to said that I had a parasite or worms. She told me to get a parasite cleanse from the health food store or a worm cleanse from the drug store. I did both, THE RASH WAS GONE! Within a month of taking the cleanse the rash was gone and has not returned.
When I contacted her to thank her, I asked how I possibly got a worm or parasite and she said that all it takes is to be in contact with animals or to go out for dinner and have someone handle your food after they had gone to the bathroom and not washed their hands. She also said we should be doing parasite/worm cleanse at least twice per year.
I haven't done one in about a year and a half and recently been living with two cats...guess what rash came back? I'm doing a cleanse right now and have also found that eating raw pumpkin seeds kills parasites.
I hope this helps some if not all of you. Good luck!
