Hello,
My 2yr old son recently and acutely developed the same symptoms on both of his feet.  Started as red spots; a cluster on one heel and around his toes and balls of his feet as well.  They turned to blisters a day or so later.  Even the tips of a few of his toes have tiny little flat blisters.  No actual pattern.  Today I noticed that he even has a little blister on the side of his thumb.  I haven't popped any of them, I don't want to introduce ifection.  These symptoms came up following a day with a spiked fever, shivering and aches.  He was better after 24 hours.  It was very strange.  The first day of the foot 'rash' he said his feet were "pokey",  he's been sensitive about his feet for the last 3-4 days.  Anyone have a diagnosis?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
I cannot confirm a diagnosis without examination, but it can be foot blisters, callus or pompholyx( itchy blisters).
When a foot is hot and sweaty, the sock sticks to the foot. The sock and foot then rub against each other and the inside of the shoe causing blisters to appear. Wear shoes that fit properly and keep feet as dry as possible. Wearing wet shoes, boots and socks will increase your chance of developing blisters. So change socks regularly.
And use foot powder to help keep your feet dry. If the blisters still persist then please get it evaluated from a dermatologist/podiatrist. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your dermatologist. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
