All is not lost, you still may be able to fulfil your dreams.
Check out the web link below. Look on the internet with regard to piloting an air craft if your country and get in touch with the Air Force with regard to their rules and regulations. Even though you may not be able to fly with the Air Force, you may still be able to pilot other commercial planes.

The is absolutely no chance you can be or should be a pilot in the armed services with diabetes.
That being said, recentely the FAA Aeromedical Division relaxed standards for those with diabetes, and you can obtain a third-class medical (with a waiver) and fly as a private pilot when your glucose levels are below 200.
john I was on my way into the navy when I found I had type 1 so I couldn't join. But if you have well controlled blood sugars and can prove it, you might just have a tiny bit have a chance. Your best option would be to try and contact your local senator or congressman and see if they will write you a recommendation letter and see if they will "pardon" your medical issue. The other thing you have going against you is the Air Force is that they aren't really recruiting for pilots but you still may be able to join. Sorry to burst your bubble but all you can do is try.
