Chronic Pain and fatigue with no diagnosis.

Since the birth of my second child 14 months ago, I have have suffered from chronic pain and fatigue.  I have headaches that are continuous daily and can be triggered by light, sound, smell, stress, food, and other pain.  I have scalp, temple, jaw, face, throat, neck, chest pain all of the time.  When I eat my throat tightens up and food will stick to the back of my throat.  I have had kidney like pain and lower back pain, my joints hurt all of the time and my limbs are very weak.  I feel like my body is being pulled down by weights.  I have pain during and after urination.  This is very intermittent and can be treated with OTC drugs.  Therefore, I do not believe it is a UTI.  I have nausea, and stomach pain followed by diareaha and constipation.  My limbs are numb and tingle all over. There is not a pattern for the numbness. I have lost 30 pounds in the last 6 months.  I have a hard time eating.  I tend to get my worst episodes after eating.  I have dealt with bouts of anger and depression.  I am normally very vibrant and energized person and it seems like all of my energy is gone.  I have become a different person.  My personality has changed.  I have had MRI, MRV, C-Spine, Spinal tap, and blood work done for all the a autammune disease and all test have been negative. What is my next step?

Dear Caliber,
My sympathies-- you have clearly been going through hell.

You don't say if you're a diabetic, but I'm guessing not, because you said all the tests for autoimmune diseases came back negative. This is a board for diabetics, and we are volunteers, not doctors, here to advise people with questions about diabetes. I wish I had some answers for you, but your issues are way beyond our scope. Don't give up, keep looking for answers, and hang in there.
