Diabetes

Hi! I'm 15 years old - Im experiencing some of the same symptoms of diabetes (Ex. Thirst, Hunger, Fatigue) - I had my blood sugar tested yesterday and it was around 104 about 2 1/2 - 3 hours after i ate a big dinner. Does this explain anything? I guess if you have any help that would be good.

Hi - its been around 26 days since i last posted on this - i guess, i have been feeling better lately... heres a list of my symptoms: Drowsiness, Headaches, thirst, thirst... not so much moodiness. I dont know if ive just became use to the symptoms or what??!?!?! but a couple nights ago i had a piece of pizza and then 3 hours i was starting to fade away... then when i ate something i felt better. I guess... i still dont know what to do haha

Thanks!!!

hey, are you having any other symptoms? Like moodiness, headaches, stuff like that. I'm not familiar with american measurements, I'm canadian so i can't tell you if that number is normal or not, but i did check on the net and i think it's alright. but if you're thinking it's type two, then you could have normal blood sugar numbers but still be developing the disease.
if you're losing weight and having more extreme symptoms.. then it's most likely type one.
the only way you'll know for sure is to get an hemoglobin a1c test done, it'll show your average blood sugar over three months. then, if it is diabetes, you'll be able to figure out which type it is from there.
hope that helped a bit.
good luck to you, keep posting!
