Have test run on his lymphatic system as soon as possible this could be very serious. Does he have a fever when his glands are swollen? Check and see this could be very decisive in his prognosis. Don't take very large gland swelling lightly the body is relaying a problem. Make sure he's not taking any drugs if you know what I mean.
Hello, Little Lady. I'm not a medical professional, just the parent of a kid with diabetes. Lymph nodes and the pancreas are glands, so they have a similar function for the body. As such, the rates of diagnosis of the second after you already have the other are higher. The thyroid is the most common lymph node to have problems. I'd definitely request that your doctor check for problems with both the thyroid and pancreas. If there is nothing there, then personally I'd be happy to have the doctor tell me 'I told you so', since I'd know my kid was healthy. If there is something there, then take the high road with your doctor and just figure out the best way to take care of your child. Good luck.
