My first symptom was a small red spot on the bottom of my big toe.  The podiatrist told
me to just put skin cream on it and it   Not so much.  In about 4 to 6 months i went
from red spot to amputation.  Please go see a podiatrist or your sugar dr NOW. Keep your sugar in check very tightly and don't let the drs blow you off.  If the first one doesn't
help go to someone else.  Good luck and please let me know how things go.

Hi, which toe is affected.

If it is big toe balance will be affected and you may need to work with a physiotherapist.

If it is one of the other toes balance should be less affected.

Recovery will take some time, but will depend on how you heal and good wound care.

Best regards
