Hey, i am a 14 year old boy and i am about 150lbs. I feel like i have to many fat rolls and am overweight. I want to start a diet to lose weight but have never done anything like this before i am desperate for help.
Something like Southbeach is good. Don't eat at restaurants much, and when you do, choose those that have lean options with smaller servings. No fast food unless it's Panera Bread level. You want lots of leafy green vegetables and other vegetables, but easy on any starchy ones. Lean meat/poultry/fish are good. Fresh fruit. No soda, little juice. Drink water. Dairy is not that great for you. Try almond milk if you don't have nut allergies. Fresh foods that are cooked from scratch are best. Oils should come from olive oil or in fish when possible. Don't eat much bread or pasta. A little rice is fine. A little potato. Nothing fried.
