I think the low-calorie diet is very healthy. It is an alternative for long-term weight loss. In general, you need to get 900 to 1,600 calories a day.
Whew, 900 calories a day is not a lot. Don't think many could do THAT. What I really liked about this article was that it wasn't about massive sweeping calorie cuts. It was about making a change of decreasing caloric intake by about 300 calories. That's so much easier to do. And a great place to start for many people. This is equivalent to a night time snack. A pop or two. Things like that can easily be eliminated.
