Sunday Weigh In - April 22, 2012

Running late this morning, but I guess late is better than nothing. With our weather being as warm as it has been, I had some yard work I needed to get done....... plus it rained overnight, so the soil was easy to work in.

So, how's everyone doing this week?  I'm doing quite well.  My "winter neighbor" has gone back to her home state now, so I no longer have my walking partner, which I really miss. Because of that, I haven't been doing long walks every day, like we were together, but I've still been taking my dog for her walk every day; and the other day, I did quite a stint on the treadmill.  I think I'll get back to my yoga this coming week.

Anyway, in spite of not walking daily, etc, I still managed to drop 1.8 pounds; am now down from 149 to 147.2. I've still had a lot of swelling in my feet, but it's better today, which I'm sure is why I can claim the loss.

So - how about everyone else?  Hope you reached your goals.

Remember, we win by losing........ weight!!

Have a wonderful, successful week.

Thank you. I haven't had it tested cause ive always been fine losing weight in the past. I've been taking fish oil cause its suppost to help keep your thyroid healthy.

Well ill get on the scale and it'll be an outragous number like I gained 6 pounds but then ill get off then back on again and it'll say I only gained one pound. I usually do it in the morning after I use the restroom and before I eat. Thought digital scales just hated me.

Have you thought to have your thyroid tested?  Hypothyroidism is a major cause of weight gain.

What do you mean "The scale keeps changing"?   Do you mean your weight is fluctuating a lot?  It's normal for weight to fluctuate, depending on when you last ate, went to the bathroom, whether or not you are retaining fluid, etc.

You should weigh at the same time every day - after going to the bathroom and before eating/drinking.

I've been eating healthy and working out. The scale keeps changing whenever I get on it. Its frustrating cause I know its wrong. All I can hope is to lose some my Monday.. I usually go to my boyfriends house on the weekend and I seem to eat worse there. Does anyone have some tips so I can do really well? My goal is 140. I was 164 in december but I started birth control and it made me hungry lol. I am now 171-172. Whichever I want the scale to believe. But this is my life goal and really want to do this and everyone says I have there support but when I need them to help me or I tell them something I'm proid of they don't seem interested and it demotivates me.. any suggestions?

Well Im back (again)

On April 2nd I started a New Me program.....It was 200 days till I hit 40 so decided to be fab at forthy not fat at 40.

I set myself a HUGE goal but I know it is doable - I want to lose 60lb in that 200 days.

I am a vetran dieter, weightloss controller and yo yo person so I know all the theory I jsut have to curb my bad habbits and addictions. I am a late night snacker and I love chocolate, cakes, cookies, ice cream, hot suasage rolls are another weakness.

Sadly this journey started EASTER WEEK...... so the first week was not good with chocoalte easter egs being my downfall.......

2nd  April -  209.4lbs
9th   April - 210.4lbs
16th April - 205.0lbs
23rd April - 202.4lbs
