Oh OK thanks I was confused on that
The mobile app is supposed to be tied into the food diary tool on the forum and should work the same way. I'm doing some checking on how it works, because I haven't used it for a while and they made some changes.
Perhaps I'm incorrect that it resets every day. I'll check it out.
I think it is so that you can still reach your goal at your set deadline even if you messed up the previous times. If you do better in the current day, it will also increase your allowed calorie intake the next days. Say you need to burn 500 calories per day, but you actually burned 1000 calories in day 1, by day 2, your allowed calories intake will also increase. But that is for the mobile app. It's not how it works on browser app or food diary tool here on the forum itself.
I know its not healthy ....but why does it give me different amount of calories to eat each day?
It was my understanding that your calorie limit resets every day and you start all over (sort of like, with a clean slate).
Your app says you only get 500 calories/day? That's not nearly enough to lose weight in a healthy manner. That's a starvation diet and no one can maintain that for very long.
If the app is only giving you 500 calories/day, you have something set wrong. Maybe your start and end dates are too close together. Check that out.
An adult female should never get less than 1200 calories/day.
