As the world turns more and more toward non-smoking, yes, it's always going to be like that.
My husband still smokes and gets very frustrated that most hotels are going smoke free, plus he can't smoke in the homes of friends/family anymore. You shouldn't be smoking at the gym.
Congratulations on improving your eating habits. Cutting back on fried foods will go a long way toward helping you lose weight.
Im becoming more active ride my bike get out & do some walking not to mention all the moving reorganizing & furniture relocation Iv been doing I'll be doing for a while + I'm going to hook my wii back up & play 30min a few times a week so it's definitely increasing my activity level
I'm not drinking beer for a long while (still have a occasional scotch or red wine but that's 1-3 in 6 months) Im not deep frying in bacon grease, not realy deep frying much now & have cut way back on all the things I love to eat having more small lite things
But still people at my apartment intentionally have others to sit on the gym equipment & say I HAVE TO QUIT or they will complain about me or report that I break things in there & I don't get why damn near everyone ******* about the few remaining smokers in the world
I am mostly just venting but curious if it's always going to be like this
I'm not going to give you the "smoking is bad for you" lecture... I smoked for 40 yrs and had to quit because it caused a build up of tissue on my vocal cords so I could barely make sound. My choice: smoke or talk. While there are certainly those who might wish I couldn't talk, I chose to give up smoking in favor of talking.
I'm not sure what else that's pleasurable, you're taking away. Your title says you want to lose some weight, but you don't want to change anything. Whether or not you stop smoking, probably has little to do with losing weight. But you will have to change your eating/exercise habits. Healthy food doesn't have to be unpleasant, neither does exercise.
I'm sorry to say, that you can't keep doing exactly the same things and expect a different outcome.
