it was good. lol. i tried SOOOO hard to just not get it. THEN hubby says lets order giovannis....i ALMOST made it. just another 45 minutes. lol. *sigh* i was good today. ate my egg this morning, salad this afternoon and pasta tonight. : o)
Hey as long as you do something to counter act the pizza you'll be OK. Pizza sounds so good.
i cheated....i ate pizza and breadsticks last night. but they were SO SO SO good. : o) i AM going for a walk/jog today!!
thanks groovy. that stupid thing was great at first....then within a few months i put on 10 lbs. i chalked it up to the holidays and once spring rolled around i worked out...hard. did i tone up or loose weight??? nope i've for on 30 more lbs. : / so now that it's getting warmer and as soon as i'm feeling better my but is outside and jogging!!!! i've even noticed my face is already clearing up. : ) my moods have been better (even though i do get cranky now and then...)
Damn Mirena - Got mine July 2009 at size 8, size 10 by October and now size 12 6 months later. 15 pounds. Getting that sucker out next week. Glad you got yours out. No advice for the exercise but just saying best of luck to ya! Hang in there, girl!
I'm glad you like salads. I only like them every now and then. I use Wishbone Lt French. I just can't seem to get into vinegar and oil. I never thought I'd be able to stop drinking pop but I really only want it when I eat something I shouldn't.
Definitely yay you! ;)
i have completely cut out soda and juice. it's only been 2 or 3 days but it's getting easier going for the water pitcher. i've also been cutting back on the seconds (except my salads i really do love salads.) i quit using ranch and french dressing and have opted for balsalmic vinegar and oil. so yay me. : o)
It sounds like you've got it under control. Hopefully with the med change it won't be to hard.
Good luck!
well i would do the mall thing only my guys are at the age where they will not sit in their stroller. they have an absolute fit. (they want to walk but still don't know about holding hands and all that....but they're learning) i think i have fit tv on demand.
i do plan out what to eat for the week (but doesn't help when my hubby changes everything...or buys the god awful chips....bah). i'm trying to stay away from juice or dilute it with more water. we do get take out once every 2-4 weeks. (usually pizza, which i get a chicken wrap, or chinese) and i cook the rest of the time. i never thought about prepping food days in advance. i actually never know which meal i want to cook until dinner time. lol. (i shop for 2 weeks but don't assign dinners to certain days...) i'm also thinking about switching me and hubby to skim milk or low fat (we drink 2% right now...the kids still drink whole milk for the fat and extra nutrients) i don't eat fried food...except for the occasional french fry. (the kids do enjoy mcdonalds chicken nuggets so if we're out we'll treat them with that...and i end up snatching a fry or 2. lol i know bad.) i think i'll start using the wii fit plus. (wii fit is so monotinus anymore. same thing over and over. which gets boring.)
i do take the steps everywhere i go and we do end up parking further from the stores. (lugging around 28 lb toddlers does help with the upper body. lol. naptime is usually when i work out and i do that 4-5 days a week for at least an hour. so i know i'm good there.
thanks for the advice!!!
The pill shouldn't effect your weight loss. I hope this works for you and takes care of the problems you were having.
You've got to take it easy on the juice. Could you buy juice boxes for the kids just enough for them and maybe you won't be so tempted? You could also buy a fruit puree/all natural juice and mix it with ice and fat free yogurt for a breakfast smoothie. That would give it to you but just a little better. Caffeine is not bad just don't go overboard. I'd say 4 cups of coffee a day is enough. I drink 1/2 decaff so I don't explode. lol I'd also set aside a few hours once a week to shop and prep food. It makes all the difference when you are short for time. My food all goes in the fridge prepped and ready so there is no thawing or chopping. I shop for 6 days and leave one day for Subway and Burger King (kids get Burger King) If I don't feel like one dinner I pick a different one. I can make whatever I want for that day as long as it's what I bought for the week. That way your not tied down to a specific meal every day. When I have a bad day, which is at least once a week my hubby runs to Subway and I don't have to feel guilty.
As for the exercise use what you have (wii fit and wii fit plus) till the weather improves. Could you walk at the mall with the kids in a stroller? At our mall the walkers are out in full force. I'd put on the ankle weight and leave them on. I like DVD's from the library. You could do aerobics or strength training, stretching or yoga, they have everything. Do you get Fit TV? I've had to adjust my workout schedule since the weather turned too. It stinks but will make me even more grateful once spring comes. There is all the usual stuff like parking your car far away and taking the stairs but with twins that's not very realistic. Nap time and nighttime I'm sure will be your best bet to get your exercise in.
Good luck and let us know if you have any more questions.
