Sulfur / Rotten Egg Burps, followed by throwing up

For the last 4 months I have had the same problem.  I get a burp that smells like sulfur or rotten eggs.  When I get this I know shortly, within an hour, I will be throwing up for the next couple of hours.  This sometimes lasts for a couple of days.  I also have bad, gas and runny stools.  If its not coming out one end, its coming out the other.

Is it something I've eaten that is bad, or am I suseptable to food poisoning because I've had it before?

Can you help me?  I would like to know what is wrong with me so I can take the necessary precautions to avoid feeling this way.

Also, is there anything I can take to keep me from getting sick when I know it's coming?  Or at least make me feel better.

Looking forward to hearing from someone soon.  I you cannot help me, maybe you can suggest, or point me in the right direction.

Sincerely, Mark (Collinsdad)
