Behavior problems with Maltese

So I just had my baby almost 6 months ago, my little Maltese Oliver took it pretty hard and didnt eat for 2 weeks.  We had to hand feed him.  Now he is so much better and loves the baby.  In the last month though we have really had a problem with his *humping*.  It is a routine where 6 pm at night he goes into the laundry room where we have his bed and he will *hump* it for at least 30 minutes.  I have now taken his food and water out of there and will shut the door when we are at home, I just dont think it is healthy for him to be doing that.  Oh also he has been fixed since 6 months old, he is now 4 years old...so I dont know why the suddened behavior has occurred.  Do you guys think it is still frustration with the baby and should I continue to shut the door or try to train him not to do it?

Yea, post a pic...so we can see!!!
I got some pics posted, not all the animals yet...will try and get all mine up too...
They love cat food,,,I know....we sneak the cat food in,,,when the dogs go nitenite....
cause if they here the can pop...they'll cry...my rescue cat is 20lbs and eat dry and wet food...hes a big boy...but he eats very little...those dogs would steal his food...and if cat doesn't eat all the wet...the dogs get out...they run for the wet cat food...like football...I promise they would be a good football team...LOL

Yeah....having a dog is like wondering where the missing sock went once you washed them...it will always be a mystery!  Haha, I just hate when company has to get brought into it.  Such as the dog bringing down panties and licking them right in front of people...or the humping of the arms or legs...or the licking of body parts!  He is also an obsessive licker and will lick anyone until their skin falls off.  I always say "Why Oliver, Why!"  And he does most his damage when I am in the shower too. That is cat food eating time!  Poor cat starves to death because he eats all her food, I dont realize it until the next day when she is meowing at me.  Sometimes he comes slinking in with his tail between his legs...he totally tells on himself!  Yesterday, he scarfed it down so fast he caused himself to have a breathing attack...you know how small dogs get that snort going on!  So even though I was soo mad at him I still had to pet him and calm him down.  Soon as he is calm, guess what he does to thank me....Burps a big cat food burp right in my face!  Again, crazy dog!
I will post a pic of him on my site...he is so cute so I cant stay mad!

Nope, haven't named the panties yet...you're funny...

So tonight everytime he went in there I called him and told him to come here and sit down by me.  He hesitated many times...walk two steps to me and one step back, haha it is actually hilarious.  Then finally he was like..."Okay Mom....Geeez, ruin all my fun!"  But it worked and he hasnt gone back in, so I guess each day I will just have to take control and put a stop to it.
He also eats cat food constantly and that is not something I can control...he is so sneaky!  Oh and underwear!  Any suggestions on how to do that?!?!  I have said No to both since he was a pup!  Haha...I havent named my underwear yet!!!

Thanks for your advice.  We have a doggy gate in the laundry room/Olivers day time room...Haha, he has two rooms in the house.  Anyways...all of his food and water and beds are in there, which is also in direct view of the living room.  We do the clapping thing al the time, but he just looks up, hair all a mess and then goes back at it.  He is normall well behaved and will listen to our clap when it comes to other things, but this it is like something takes a hold of him.  Crazy dog!  So I just try to divert his attention by closing the doggy gate and locking him out of the laundry room.  I figured maybe if I distract his attention he will soon forget about his girlfriend "Beddy"...is what we call his bed now (seriously, no joke)!  Haha, I like how we name things!

You know, I probably do not have the correct advice...I have a girl chihuahua who was spayed @ 6 mths, and she has this teddy bear (named "Who Bear") yep, we gave it a name for the her..she humps the bears, so to keep from any embarrassment when visitors or grandchildren around, I will put the bear up and hide it...until no one around, and let her have it to go to bed w/ at night...its her imaginary friend...
Now, when my male pups start acting like this towards my female dogs, all I do, is clap my hands to make a sound, and tell NO NO, and over time, they quit it...
But, explain the removal of food and water?? I don't know if I got the right picture...I wouldn't advise to remove the food/water for discipline or shut door...you shut the door on him, and he will do it more, because its natural for dogs to do dog behavior, and shutting him up, will probably make the behavior even worse over time...puppies are like your toddlers...you have to catch em in the act, say NO, then let go,,,time out to a toddler child doesn't always work so well...
Welcome to the forum...you will get much advice/suggestions here, and congratulations on your baby, beautiful picture...
