Dog wobbly, weak, acting like he's drunk

My 9 year old overweight beagle came in from going outside to the bathroom and is acting all wobbly and weak legged.  Can't hold himself steady and his head will sway from not being able to keep stable.  Eyes and mouth seem normal.  He did eat a normal meal with great effort and did not drink his usual bowl full of water, just a little.  He is lying around but extremly low activety.  After about 5 hours got him up to go back out and don't think he went pee.  Just layed down outside.  So I brought him in and he's laying down again. Doesn't seem in pain at all.  Any ideas?

The sooner you get him to a Vet, the better the outcome.....Everything I can think of is treatable if caught early...You need to head that way! Please come back & let us know how he is...Don't wait any longer.....

I agree, there are several quite serious but treatable conditions this could be ... your best friend needs to be seen by a vet, sooner rather than later.

No way to tell for sure but sounds like you better get him to a Vet to be checked out and soon!
