Sorry, didn't see any discussion on Epsom Salt baths. Is this for a dog?
Hi yes its an american bulldog he bites his paws a lot making them sore and swollen just ordered some dog socks and benadryl and Epsom salts I read that this combination works well ??
Is this something new? Is it only his feet? Is he on grass a lot? You can try soaking the feet in Epsom Salts a couple if times a day for 5-10 mins. Uf all four feet, may be easier to use a bathtub. Make sure you dry them thoroughly. If he goes on grass, try to keep him off that for a while. You have any new carpet or new bedding for him that might be the cause? Only ine type of Epsom Salts I know if.
Had a Sheltie years ago that was doing this. I followed the same protocol and my suspicion was something in the grass here and when I had dogs here, we never sprayed it with chemicals. She was sold to a show home in New York, and of course I dud closed this and gave a guarantee. After she moved to a home there, she never had another problem! So, obviously, it was something here she was allergic to.
Yes, you can try Benadryl but check with your Vet on the dose.
Hi thanks for info his eye is watering a bit today and hair bit patchy we let him roam the garden every day which is mostly lawn and goes on regular walks through the woods so its the same places each day its a regular occurrence but not every day
