Me to! Mostly during Spring and Fall! I had a collie that scratched a lot of her hair off but we eventually had to have her tested and I gave her allergy shots for 8 years! My last dog, miniature schnauzer, would not cough but sneeze, shake his head, scratch his ears and lick/chew the top of his front feet and toes. The benedryl was recommended by my vet and worked great! Although I couldn't see it made him sleepy like me lol!
I sure did! Stick with the benadryl and stay away from claritin. Most people don't give their dogs a therapeutic dose of benadryl. It should be 1 mg per pound of the dog's body weight. If the symptoms don't get better pretty rapidly at that dose, you need to take your dog to the vet. It may be an infection that requires antibotics.
