How to deal with dog death

I've never experienced death in my life if it's a family member or dog, my Jack Russell Terrier I've had for 14 years we got her as a pup when I was born so she's grown up with me, she's starting to have leg problems and she's starting to go blind and I know sooner or later I'm gonna have to watch my baby girl pass, I'm crying writing this because I don't want her to go and I'm gonna miss her sleeping next to me and waking me up in the morning with her little kisses and I'm gonna miss taking her on walks every day and I just want to know how can you deal with a dogs death easier? Some days she's very active and entergetic like a puppy and some days all she wants to do is lounge around and acts weird so I'll never know when...

There is not a good answer, spend your time making quality time with your friend. Hold her when she is quite tell her you love her. Enjoy what she does to show you that she loves you also. Realize they never mean to be a problem, or to irritate you, they love you and you are their life. Do all you can so you can say “ she knew she was loved” and relish in the knowledge that she loves you. They are dear companions that never get to stay long enough. And loosing one is never easy.
I hope this helps.
