oh my makes me so so sad, shame on here i hope she gets payback, sorry but you should never treat anything breathing like that.
Just read this Jen... breaks my heart.
I think about how much I love my girls, and how well I treat them, and the endless stream of $$$ I've poured into Condi (my English Mastiff), and then I read a story like this which is the POLAR OPPOSITE of me, and I wonder why... why... why...
All I can say is, people S-U-C-K.
Do you know how it died? Lets face it, the kids are going to grow up with the same attitude as their idiot mother.
"Why" indeed. The sad fact is that a whole lot of people look at pets as disposable and not particularly in need of any more care than a toy. I have no doubt that another poor dog is destined for that home and it freezes my soul to think of it. I gave up trying to educated people like this woman a long time ago. There are children in the home and I'd bet money they got the dog as a puppy "for the kids."
Why, in Gods name, do people like that even have pets? Makes me wonder what kind of life her kids have, also.
Oh Jaybay! What a sad thing to happen. Thanks to you something was done about it....but I have never heard the like....I am speechless
Sadly I'm afraid there are a lot of people so caught up in their lives they care less for anything, that being other people and poor animals.
Sadly there are so many animals who do not have a choice of a home
in this world get stuck with heartless and uncaring a-holes like these
people. Thank you for caring enough to do something. Your heart is
in the right place. There are so many good souls here on a Medhelp
site, which just so happened had a pet site. I just found this place by
accident, looking for comfort from losing my best dog Jack. I could
not believe the outpouring of love and caring you have here. People
who hearts are bigger than Texas, pour out their caring and kindness.
I started a journel here, so help me cope with Jacks loss. It has really
helped. I love animals, especially dogs and cats. I look out for animals
all my life. I think people who enjoy a their dog and cat, make they
part of the family. They truly are part of your life. Thannks again for
your kindness. You show the true spirit of Christmas.
Thank you,
Mark
Firstly, I am feeling so sorry for the dog and I agree, what kind of hideous life must this poor soul have had if this is how it was treated in the end. It constantly surprises me how the human race can exhibit both almost pure evil and extraordinary kindness, according to who you meet and when you meet them. This is just so very sad.
Secondly, I am so very sorry that you had to witness this horrible event and I am sure it will stay with you for some time. Feel free to vent ... I certainly would, if it had happened to me. Big hugs, Tony
Poor guy! What a horrible way to treat a creature that lives and breathes for its human pack. :(
The other problem I cannot understand the police overlooking is that this is a biohazard! The dog should have been, at the very LEAST, double-bagged in black trash bags before putting it ANYWHERE! The obvious thing that should have been done would have been to wrap the dog's body up and take it to the vet to be disposed of properly. Of course, that would mean they would have to pay a few dollars, but that's the way it goes. There ARE rules that you have to follow and probably ONLY the fact that you live in an unincorporated area saved her from some sizeable fines for doing what she did. Had that happened here the Health Department would have been crawling all over the place.

Jaybay....this story is heartbreaking...It breaks my heart to think that this beautiful creature was not loved or respected enough by its owners to be taken care of properly, and with respect after its death. Heaven only knows what heartaches he may have suffered in the hands of such a seemingly insensitive owner...Thank-you for caring.
God Bless his Beautiful Spirit and Soul.
