he is a min-pin, miniature Schnauzer and doberman, and yes he had the flaky and scaly brown stuff on him and vet said it was Yest problems, possibly due and allergic to flea bites.

Sounds like good news.  Besides not looking into the many links you provided I hadn't looked at you "avatar" which I discover is a picture of the subject.  My poor elderly eyes didn't make it out until I clicked and enlarged the picture.

Is that a Westie?  We have a rescue Westie (means we know nothing about the dog's history) and he has an ongoing battle with Yest problems which my be related to allergies   Was yeast infections covered in any of the links you provided?

If your current vet has not done so, I would either request that he do a skin scraping or take him to another vet for a second opinion and ask that  HE do a skin scraping to see if there are any other external parasites (aside from fleas) on him.  I still think it looks like he has a staph infection, which can be treated with a course of antibiotics.

He eats fine, acts fine, still playfull when you play with him, just has those spots and rashes all over and lost a bunch of hair, mainly from licking himself or scratching all the time. Vet did say awhile back that he might be allergic to grass, weeds, ect but told us benidryl will work fine for that .

This looks to me like he may have picked up a staph infection.  What are his symptoms besides the hairloss and skin lesions/rash?  How old is he?  What is this place where you took him?  Is it a dog park or a hiking trail or what?  While he was there did he wander away from you and perhaps get into something that could have caused this (poison ivy perhaps)?  Please provide us with as many details as you can.  Simply looking at the photos (several of which did not post correctly and cannot be seen) is not all that much help without an explanation of his symptoms and what is going on with him otherwise.

they did do a skin scrape for mange, and said negative ,didn't check for staph that I know of. the steriods did seem to help alot but only for a few weeks then back to the same old problem, we have been feeding dr.garys pet food, http://www.bestbreed.com ,  so today we were told to switch him to 4health  http://www.tractorsupply.com/content_landing-page_4health......it is on his tummy, under his arm pits, chest, back and tail, he has lost alot of fur on his back and also has scally stuff which the vet said was yeast, he has no fleas....let me know what else you need to know and i can take more pics if needed, thank you

It looks similar to when my dog get a skin infection. But I agree, a lot more information is needed for us to try to help you.

We need more information Dad......Did the skin scrape for Mange check for bacteria such as staph? Have they checked for ringworm? (Which is what I originally thought about).....
Antibiotics would be given for bacterial infection....Anti-fungal shampoos and ointment for ringworm or fungus....
Steroids only mask the problem, but do relieve the misery & are needed until the correct treatment is started....
Food could be a factor.....Allergic reaction to chemicals, shampoos, bedding, etc.
Is it only on his tummy? ANy more information would be helpful......Let us know...Thanks, Karla

Sorry to read, and not understand, you trouble.  A few more words such as age, breed and symptoms that are troubling would help.

A set of links to unknown subjects doesn't attract further study my be.  One problem is this site/community doesn't produce "click-able" links to sites outside of MedHelp, so one has to cut-and-past to get to the several sites you provide.

Let us know more in a few words.
