Shih Tzu's digestion

Hello,I have 2 Shih Tzus both are 7months old and they are male &  female. when they were still at the store. they feed them " Beef Pro" . after we bought them we feed them the same dog food but it didn't last long ( about 4days only). They started NOT eating the dog food , but we prepared the food the same way the store did.We feed them Eukanuba , Pedigree(pellets and chicken/beef chunks) , and 2 other dog foods.But they move very very normal and they feel very very healthy. Me & my mother, being concern, we searched for homemade dog foods, we learned the recipe and we cooked it. At last they ate the food! but once again, it didn't last long. we gaved them variations. Chicken Liver , & many other internal organs. What do we really have with our shih tzus? do they have some sort of sickness?what would you recommend for this 2 dogs ? + we have a problem , we cant control them if they are in heat. we dont want to (castration) do it to him. The problem there is that they are sisters & brothers . what would be your thoughts ?

Hi,  I had 2 shi tzu's, brother and sister also..

You know when they were puppies I couldnt change food on them or they would get sick so I left them on the same food all their lives....Eukanuba.   That solveds the problem, and they were perfectly happy.  We never fed them "people" food either.  

They were very healthy, right now molly is giving me problems, but the vet says she has no health problems, except old age and and its me that is having a problem with feeding her I think.   Her brother jumped off our deck once and it came back to haunt him so we had to put him down.  

I say give them one food, especially at their age, and they will be better.  Just my 2 cents worth..

They could just be picky eaters. Maybe they would like a variety to eat? If that doesn't solve anything, you could call a local vet for advice.

Boy, having a hard time understanding your post. You got them from a pet store?  I never heard of Beef Pro food.  They are still puppies and should be on a puppy food. I would buy a good quality puppy kibble.  Maybe try boiling up some chicken, cut it in small pieces and add it to the kibble with a little water and see if they will eat that.  Even try a little canned dog food and see if they will eat that.  Puppies usually eat Eukanuba pretty well.  They can't go forever without eating and I've never seen a healthy dog yet that will starve itself.  Try putting food down for a certain amount of time. If they don't eat it, pick it up.  Put it down again for a second meal and if they don't eat it, pick it up.  Dogs can go for a while with no food but make sure they have water.  I assume they aren't acting sick? Stools are ok?  Have they been wormed?  If not, take a stool sample into your Vet.
You have a male and female and don't want to have the male neutered or the female spay?  You certainly don't want them breeding.  How long have you had these dogs?  
Please spay and neuter them. It is really healthier for them in the long run.
