I'm so sorry, I know the hurt you are feeling. Her memory will always be with you. She went the way she would want to I'm sure, comfortably on her sofa with her family and no suffering. Try to think of her life and know she is forever with you.
I am sure if Kailah had a choice it would have been to stay in your
very loving home for more years,it sounds like she had a great skin
dad.
No one will know the WHY as several things could have happened
since she was so healthy and well cared for,she was a treasure it
sounds like.
I did have a Greyhound about 8 years ago who let out a loud yelp
and whine and laid down to sleep forever,Nickki had a heart attack
(our vet thought) as it was so sudden and she too had been fine
she was 12 BUT who can say this is why your Kailah left?
It is never easy to find we are without them but she has moved into
that special place in your heart...never to leave or be far from you.
My heart hurts for you and your family
Run free...run like the wind little girl

Thank you Margot49! I hope our dogs are all happily playing together. i'll hold her again someday.
Thank you Tony. It has been a rough few days but we gave her and she gave us a wonderful life. All that matters to me is that she's happy. xo
I am so sorry to read of your loss. Agree with what tony said. Could have been a number of things. I lost a couple of dogs in years past very unexpectedly with no signs anything was wrong. An older dog to a heart attack and another to a ruptured tumor on her liver.
My heart goes out to you also.
Hi. Yes, it could have been either - or something completely different. Sadly, you may never know for sure, but hopefully you can be reassured it was quick. My sincere condolences on your loss. It's very hard when something like this happens and it leaves us in shock and great distress. My heart goes out to you.
Run free Kailah.
Tony
