We are moving, our house is cleaned daily and swept. Friday: took Zoe to school with me left her in car for 45 min. Just cleaned car, nothing to eat. Went home, people who were supposed to look at our house earlier showed up at 3:30. I shoved dogs outside, put kids in car and went to movie. Came back and Zoe drank tons of water, layed down on floor and was soaking wet with drool, eyes were watery and her left side of body was shakey. I rushed her to Emergency Pet hospital, they gave her charcoal, IV Fluid, and tested her liver, kidney and ekg for heart. ALL NORMAL, no fever. NO Vomiting, NO Abnormal bowls. They sent her home with me the next night said it looked like she ate something but was ok to go home, they had no idea what. She ate little cheese and chicken and was still drooling and shaking. By Monday I took her to my vet, she said all blood work was normal, liver, kidney, heart , no fever. NORMAL. She let me take her home Tuesday said she was very lethargic, Zoe was blinded by her third eyelid, could not see anything, bumping into things. I got her settled and she drank water, she walked sideways and urinated outside once but I had to hold her. Within three hours she put her tongue out and did the death crawl with my four kids holding her. I rushed her in, they did CPR, but she died. They have no clue what it was. I live in Madison, MS. The dog did not eat anything I could find, did not foam at mouth. We are totally clueless. HELP Vets are useless to me, they don't know. I cremated her, cause I was so crazy hysterical and they said it was the best option cause we were moving and could take her.
